John Blaine, Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
John Blaine joined N-able with extensive public and private technology industry background as a Chief Financial Officer responsible for corporate finance, accounting and administrative functions. Mr. Blaine previously served in the same role with both Thales Systems Canada and Corel® Corporation, where he spearheaded the raising of $30M CDN in new capital and the restructuring of Corel's cost structure which led to Microsoft's $135M US investment in Corel.
Prior to joining Corel in early 2000, Mr. Blaine spent a total of 9 years with Sterling Software and Sterling Commerce in various financial roles, starting as a financial analyst and ending as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Mr. Blaine holds a B. Comm. degree from the University of Guelph and a C.A. designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
